A bold new tool brand is born

Hot on the heels of our last successful hardware brand project, this task was to create a strong identity for a tough line of professional-grade hand tools. With a lifetime warranty, these tools would be made to last – so we needed to create a brand that would leave a lasting impression.

Crafting a brand with bite

To stand out from the many established competitors, we knew our brand would have to own a colour and a distinct ethos. After much deliberation, and with the lifetime warranty in mind, we finally settled on a name that instantly conjures up feelings of loyalty, strength and dependability.

Hunting for the right aesthetic

We drew inspiration from German precision and Scandinavian practicality, and fused it with a bold, cool blue as well as rigid geometric shapes to form a confident, no-nonsense brand mark.
