Unbridled design
While Ascot Gin holds the dominant share of the gin market in Sri Lanka, reinvigorated competitors are nipping at the brand’s heels, encouraging them to look at a redesign and explore the opportunity of a more premium tiered product.
Taking our cue from the brand’s link to the Ascot races, we designed a leather 'bridle' with brass fixings to wrap around the bottle, giving it immediate prestige and cleverly doubling as a handy carry strap – the perfect tote for race days. At the base of the bottle, a perfectly moulded horseshoe provides a sturdy, yet chic footing.
The result is a toast to elegance and purebred design, that was recognised in the 2023 MUSE Design Awards as a Gold Winner. Cheers to that!
